Lost for words
in a world so dark and lonely
Here alone…
waiting for someone to heal me

So desperate now
So empty, and wanting
‘Been running and hiding
for the pain is so much to bear

Looking for an answer
but wherever I go
Nobody could satisfy my soul

But you Lord, you can pick me up
and Love me….
though unlovely I stand


Then I reached for Your hand
and my fears where washed away
overwhelmed… by the love
that You’re giving me

Now filling my emptiness
You wiped my tears
and Your presence means so much more
I’m so sorry I’ve ignored You when I was..

Looking for an an answer
but wherever I go

But You Lord, You can pick me up
and love me….
though unlovely I stand

Oh You Lord
You’ve forgiven me
and promised me to heal my soul


You raised me up
You breathe in me life
Now I’m giving you my all
